Part 1 – This step can be done in your computer also.
- Visit www.mcafee.com/activate or click the “Activate” button.
- Enter your 25-digit activation code and click on submit. (Note: After entering the activation code if you get a message “This product was purchased for a different region” Click on Continue)
- Enter you Email ID and click next.
- Enter your password and click next. (Password should contain 1 Capital Letter, 1 Small letter, 1 Number and should be minimum 8 characters.)
Note: Autorenewal is not mandatory. Please skip it by clicking “Continue without additional benefits”. This will be just below “Complete Activation”
Part 2 – If you have McAfee Mobile Security already installed on your mobile, please uninstall it.
- Open Google play in your mobile (Click here)
- Install McAfee Mobile Security from Google Play Store.
- Open McAfee and provide all the permissions for the proper functioning of McAfee
- Click on Upgrade
- Click See our Plans
- Scroll down until you reach Plus Plan, just below this plan Click on “Already purchased a plan”
- Click Allow Permissions
- Enter the same email ID you used while activating your product here and click next
- Enter the password you created for your McAfee account here and click next.
