How do I remove an OEM license from BIOS?
It is not possible to remove an OEM license from the BIOS or UEFI firmware. The OEM license is embedded in the computer’s BIOS or UEFI firmware and is used to automatically activate Windows during the installation process. This means that the license is tied to the specific computer and cannot be transferred to another computer.
If you want to activate Windows on a different computer, you will need to purchase a new license for that computer. Retail licenses can be transferred to another computer, as long as the license is removed from the previous computer. However, OEM licenses cannot be transferred to another computer.
If you are having issues activating Windows on your computer with an OEM license, you should contact the manufacturer or Microsoft support for assistance. They may be able to help you resolve any activation issues you are experiencing.
